Skyfall Everyone knows that James Bond loves his martinis, but Heineken paid an estimated $45 million to have him enjoy one of their beers. For that massive amount of money, the beverage got seven seconds of screen time and sales went up 400% in 6 months.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron A Harley-Davidson motorcycle is shown in this Marvel film and it cost the company $10 million for the placement. Harley Davidson product placement has earned the grand motorcycle company ten times over revenue vs. investment over the years.

Cast Away In this 2000 film, a volleyball, provided by Wilson Sporting Goods, is featured. It even got a name that has since become iconic: Wilson. The ball was shown on screen for 10.5 minutes, and this gave the company roughly $1.85 million in advertising value.

Product Placement is a Decision Maker: Whether it's Fashion, Gadgetry, or even what the Stars eat and drink, people are motivated to seek out more info on what they see on screen in Film and TV. Product placements become “implied endorsements”.

When done right, product placements can make a lot of money for the brands that utilize them.

The first movie that won a Best Picture Oscar, Wings (1927), had product placement for Hershey’s chocolate bar.



In 1927, Wings was released and is known as one of the earliest movies with especially noticeable product placement advertising, with nearly 30 seconds focused on a Hershey’s bar rolling down a lifted cloth.

Companies who want to focus on product placements will need to sign with product placement agencies that offer programs that include more than just on-screen exposure. These agencies also offer
